Prof. Dr. Viola Vambol

Prof. Dr. Viola Vambol began research in the Waste Management and Environmental Engineering field in 1999 in Ukraine, and she was recognized as a Mechanical Engineer in 2001, and from that year, she has been actively involved in lecturing activities and advising young scientists. She obtained the Doctor of Engineering Sciences in the field of Environmental Safety in 2016; and she received the conferment diploma of academic degree Professor (Full) in Occupational Safety and Health and Technogenic and Environmental Safety in 2018.
She was a member of 8 research projects and the head of 1 research project. For all the scientific and pedagogical experience, she has supervised more than 50 masters and 2 graduate students, she has published more than 200 scientific and educational-methodical works, including 8 monographs and 11 patents.
Currently, Prof. Dr. Viola Vambol lives in Poland, is a Professor at the Department of Applied Ecology and Nature Management, National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, Poltava, Ukraine.
Today Prof. Dr. Viola Vambol is a member of several scientific communities in different countries; a reviewer for 28 scientific periodicals, including 15 Elsevier journals, 2 Springer journals, 2 journals from university publishing houses and others; the editor of the Journal of Trace Elements and Minerals (Scopus, Q1), of the Ecological Engineering & Environmental Technology (EEET) (Scopus, Q3), of 3 journals indexed in other scientometrics databases, of 4 special issues of scientific journals from publishing houses Springer, MDPI, Frontiers, KeAi; an editor of 2 books by IWA Publishing for 15 and 10 chapters, of 1 book published by Elsevier with 29 chapters.
